Wuxi Institute of Arts and Technology (WIAT) has a history of nearly 70 years, with Ceramic Art and Ceramic Materials as her name card. During the forty years of Ceramic Art, there are so many people and stories worth recording and writing, among whom, some middle-aged and young ceramists are in Yi Xing Ceramics field. They deep in ceramics and have high achieved, some of which have become provincial, even national craft artists. They have the honor to be visiting professors and part-time professors, working together with senior professors and ceramists, from China Academy of Art and Jing De Zhen Ceramic works. They have made great contribution to the Ceramic Art with the specialized teaches from WIAT.

ˇˇThe exhibited works made delicately by the part-time and the specialized teachers, which are divided into four categories. The first category is teapot art. Not only the ceramicist but also folk teapot makers are making it, talking it, appreciating it as a fashion, even crazy about it.
Also the middle-aged and young ceramists have benefited from the culture, who deep in it, feeling tireless, and won many medals which gain a good reputation for WIAT. The second one is pottery sculptures. They make the figures and animals easily, both tradition and modern, which showing their good basis. The third one is ceramic wares. Either square or round, big or small, they could be realistic but also imaginary. The fourth one is Modern Ceramic Art. They play with the ceramic, the porcelain and inspiration as a whole. Their works show the nature of clay and even beyond it.
ˇˇSuch fertility, such gentleness, such charm having made up of beautiful scenery on the campus. Now it has aroused not only the reputation of WIAT but also the spirits of students.
