●Department
of Artistic Design
Ceramic art department was founded in 1965,with
40 years of history. Ceramic art department is relied
on the famous ceramic capital and it is the most
important department that has the special characteristic.
The department has quite a few specialities, such
as ceramic sculpture, modern ceramic art, zisha
craftwork, ceramic art decoration and design and
traveling craftwork design and making.
The department has a team with qualified teachers
who have rich experiences. Among them, four are
members of academicians of Art of China, five are
master of China craftwork and art and master of
provincial craftwork.. Also among them fifteen teachers
have the high title of a technical post, more than
85% have intermediate titles. In the 40 years, a
lot of students graduated form the institute and
became dr., professors of universities, masters
of craftwork and art, national famous designers,
master of ceramic art and artists.
Thousands of graduates were distributed over h
ome and aboard. Recently, our institute has enlarged
the external communication activities, Many teachers
have been to Japan, Korea, Malaysia, America and
some European countries and also Taiwan and Hong
kong district to hold international ceramic art
communication act
ivities, exhibition of ceramic art and picture shows.
The teachers of the department won decadal times
of gold and silver medals and published tens of
individual monographs.
The International Ceramic Art Garden Which incorporates
making, communicating, exhibiting and collecting
of ceramic art is under the construction. Our institute
also has the yixing section of the external communication
ministry of Jingdezhen ceramic institute, the yixing
practice base of Jiangxi ceramic institute and the
center of the internal ceramic art communication
and creation.
